Easter 2009

Easter weekend...egg hunt Saturday morning, coloring eggs Saturday night, church Sunday morning, Karen and Harlan's for lunch, and Granny and Granddaddy's for supper...great day of celebration with food, family, food, friends, food, chocolate bunnies...and finally...sleep!

Spring Break 2009

These are pictures from Addi and Jake's spring break week. We didn't go to the beach but they had a very full week with lots of things to do...sleepovers at Bama and Granddad's and at Grammy and Granddaddy's, Mr. Gatti's and Freeman Lake with the Burns girls, playing at Aunt Gale's, and Abraham Lincoln's Birthplace with Mommy and Daddy just to name a few.
Addi cooked dinner for us one night from the cookbook she got for Christmas...she made hula stir-fry and even wore a hula skirt (made with Daddy's help) to serve us in.

Jake's 3rd Birthday

Jake got to celebrate his 3rd birthday with lots of fun times with family and friends. On the weekend before his birthday he celebrated with all the Williams and Melloan families here at our house with a Monster Truck cake made especially with Grave Digger (his favorite Monster Truck) on top...by his wonderful mommy of course! :) Then on his actual birthday he got to take cupcakes, fruit snacks, and juice boxes to his class at preschool. That night he got to pick where he wanted to eat his birthday dinner and he chose Mr. Gatti's...of course...certainly not Mommy and Daddy's pick, but it was his birthday so we went...and Cam and Em came along. After playing games and making the very important ticket purchases we headed to dollar scoop night at Baskin-Robbins...the weather was nice and there weren't any seats inside so we brought our ice cream home and the kids ate it in the driveway. Monster Trucks, pizza, ski ball, and ice cream...what more could a big 3 year old boy ask for??? :)
