As of last week's ultrasound and doctor's appointment Anna Laine weighs nearly 5 1/2 pounds and is practicing her breathing in utero...all good signs that if she decides to come before the scheduled delivery date of September 19th things should be okay. Obviously her mother appears "more than ready" for her arrival, but I can certainly tough it out for another few weeks to make sure she's as healthy as can be when she gets here. I've decided this will be the last of the profile pics since James has already made the observation that I remind him of the photos of Kate from the TV show "Jon and Kate Plus 8" when she was carrying sextuplets...gotta love him! Anyway, I'm feeling much more confident that everything we've been doing all along (the bed rest, shots, medications, etc.) have all done their job and have kept her from coming way to early like she kept threatening to early on. Thanks so much to all our family and friends who have taken care of Addi and Jake, brought food, prayed for us, etc. It means the world to all of us and Anna is one lucky little girl to be born with so many people loving her so much already! Since I'm slacking off on a lot of the meds now the doctors say it really could be anytime so stayed tuned for pictures of our baby girl sometime in the next few weeks!

35 week update

Obviously her mother appears "more than ready" for her arrival, but I can certainly tough it out for another few weeks to make sure she's as healthy as can be when she gets here. We are so thankful for you guys and will be in prayer that when she delivers, she'll be fiesty and healthy and ready to play with Jake and Addi. Your family is one of the sweetest and loving families I've ever known so it's no wonder so many people have wanted to help you guys :).
ps... I LOVE those shades on the windows!!! I've never noticed them before... So cute!
I guess me and Jameso think alike, cause when i saw that picture i was thinking "woah its kate!" cause they show that pic of her belly..!
hahaah well i have a feeling about tomorrow. BUT i want u to wait til the 12th bc its a friday, like addi and jake, and its an even number. like addi and jake. plus emily still needs time to find a "im the big sis" shirt!! =P

I am so thankful that you have made it this far! I know that you are ready, but it won't be long now. Reese really misses seeing Jake and I know that you are ready to get back to normal, if there ever is such a thing! I can't wait to see her!
WOoooo Hoooo! The recliner has done its work! The only thought I had when seeing your pic is, "she looks cute"! And I'm usually the snarky one. just blame it on his knee!
